Navigating Change: Reflections on 2025 and Our Vision for 2026

2025 was a landmark year for the M. Demajo Group. It was a year defined by resilience, innovation, and bold moves that strengthened our position in Malta and beyond. As we look back, we celebrate achievements that reflect the dedication of our people and the trust of our partners.

Reflections on 2025
This past year, we secured the government award for the second electrical interconnector to Sicily – a project that reinforces Malta’s energy security and clean energy sources. We have secured the roll out of 55,000 Lenovo laptops to students nationwide, with 19,000 already delivered, supporting digital education and enabling our young generation. Our investment in Tunisia with a new packaging plant marked a significant step in serving the North African market.

Our startups, such as Visual Solutions, continued to thrive, and we launched new services and solutions across the Group that expanded the value we deliver to clients. We also entered Malta’s largest renewable energy tender – the floating wind farm project – underscoring our commitment to sustainability and the betterment of society.

These milestones were achieved against a backdrop of global economic uncertainty and intense competition. Yet, by embracing agility and innovation, we turned challenges into opportunities. A can-do attitude and culture, an extremely skilled workforce, and technology emerged as critical enablers, and we are committed to harnessing these elements to stay ahead.

Outlook for 2026
The coming year will be about building on this momentum. We will accelerate digital transformation and AI adoption, ensuring our businesses remain competitive and future-ready. Sustainability will remain at the heart of our strategy, with new investments across several sectors and renewable energy projects playing a pivotal role.

We aim to strengthen our regional footprint, diversify revenue streams, and maintain financial discipline while pursuing growth opportunities. Strategic acquisitions in several segments of the Group will enhance our capabilities and broaden our client base.

Malta’s economy is projected to grow at 3.5% in 2026, mainly driven by private consumption – a trend that aligns with our plans to innovate and deliver value across sectors. While global headwinds persist, our focus on resilience, adaptability, and collaboration will ensure we not only navigate change but lead through it.

Change is the only constant in business. At the M. Demajo Group, we embrace it as an opportunity to evolve, innovate, and create lasting impact. Here’s to a transformative 2026.
