Warehouse Supervisor (WS – WSUP 03/26)

M. Demajo (Wines & Spirits) Ltd is seeking to recruit a Full-Time Warehouse Supervisor who will be leading our warehouse team within a fast-moving Wines & Spirits distribution environment.

The selected person will be joining a dynamic team in an exciting and confident working environment, which motivates good performances towards continuous growth whilst performing the following duties (amongst others):

• Coordinating daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate picking and dispatching, maintaining safety standards and keeping the team engaged, productive and aligned with company goals.
• Overseeing receiving, packing and loading activities.
• Ensuring safe handling of Wines & Spirits, including fragile and high-value items.
• Promoting a positive, respectful and performance- driven team culture.
• Conducting on-the-floor training for new and existing team members.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment.
• Collaborating with management on shift planning, resource allocation and process improvement.
• Addressing issues proactively, including stock discrepancies, breakages or workflow bottlenecks.
• Enforcing Health & Safety rules and ensuring that staff adhere to company policies.
• Assisting the Warehouse Managers with general office administrative tasks.
• Assisting in the periodical stocktaking.
• Making the most efficient utilization of available storage space and keeping the HQ area always organised.
• Ensuring that all company vehicles are garaged and properly secured at the end of the day.

Interested candidates must:

• Have previous experience in a supervisory or senior warehouse role (experience in FMCG or beverage distribution will be considered as an advantage).
• Have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Possess good communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive warehouse environment.
• Be able to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
• Be physically able to work on the warehouse floor as required.
• Be calm, approachable and solutions oriented.
• Be fair, consistent and confident in giving direction.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Have a customer-focused mindset and be able to give attention to detail.
