Overall Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Technical Operator to support our manufacturing and field operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing IoT hardware products at our factory, as well as assisting with the installation and commissioning of IoT solutions at customer sites.
Our solutions include vehicle tracking systems, water level monitoring sensors, temperature monitoring systems, energy and water meters, industrial monitoring equipment, and marine IoT solutions installed across a wide range of industries including transport, hospitality, manufacturing, utilities, and commercial facilities.
The selected candidate will receive ongoing training and mentorship from experienced engineers and technicians, providing an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in electronics, IoT technologies, and field installations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic products and IoT devices according to manufacturing procedures.
- Test, inspect, and verify products to ensure quality and functionality.
- Package finished products for shipment and deployment.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the factory.
- Install and commission IoT equipment at customer premises.
- Assist with the installation of vehicle tracking systems, temperature monitoring systems, water level sensors, energy meters, water meters, and related monitoring equipment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of installed systems.

The suitable candidate should:
- Be based in Malta and fluent in English.
- Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Be capable of troubleshooting basic technical and installation-related issues.
- Be willing to work both in a factory environment and on customer sites.
- Have a positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Be organised, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Previous experience in a factory, technical, electrical, mechanical, automotive, or installation environment will be considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, tools, or wiring installations will be considered an advantage.
