Joseph Cachia & Son Limited, a subsidiary within the M. Demajo Group is looking to expand and strengthen their technical team.
Besides representing world renowned brands, supplies, Joseph Cachia & Son Limited distributes and maintains money handling equipment, queuing systems, reverse vending machines, noise and air monitoring equipment to commercial and industrial entities. Furthermore, the company has a fully trained technical team providing a 24-hour round the clock maintenance and support service. Joseph Cachia & Son Ltd has also developed strong business relationships with leading suppliers some of whom it has teamed up with, to successfully bid for large-scale tenders involving complex infrastructural projects in the field of energy, the environment and security.
Based in Malta and reporting directly to the Head of Operation- Technical Division, the selected Technical Operations Coordinator will be performing the following main duties amongst others:
- Coordinating daily operational activities within the Technical Division under the guidance and direction of the Head of Operations.
- Supporting the Head of Operations in planning, reporting, and execution of tasks.
- Acting as a central point of contact between technical teams and other departments.
- Monitoring ongoing projects and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met, escalating matters where necessary.
- Addressing technicians’ day-to-day operational matters.
- Coordinating technicians’ daily schedules and assignments in collaboration with the Service Desk team, ensuring timely client support in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Issuing Purchase Orders to suppliers in accordance with operational requirements.
- Monitoring and maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and preparing invoicing for Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and private clients.
- Ensuring all Service Level Agreements are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations and that customer expectations are consistently met.
- Maintaining records, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Identifying and escalating operational issues to the Head of Operations where necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a technical, IT, or operations-related role .
- Strong knowledge of Information Technology (IT) systems and environments.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal proficiency in Maltese is essential, along with a good command of English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant systems/tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
