We are seeking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the Company’s business development activities aimed at promoting growth by establishing focused relationships in existing customer groups and building sound relationships with all customer groupings.
Main duties will include:
- Fully abiding by the Company’s directives to attend service calls;
- Ensuring that service calls are attended to in accordance with the Company’s service level agreements;
- Consulting the Company and the Company’s principals abroad on technical matters;
- Ensuring that customer satisfaction is always maintained;
- Attending to and performing preventive maintenance and breakdown services on machinery and equipment belonging to the Company’s customers;
- Completing a visit report of services rendered to every customer;
- Compiling reports following preventive or corrective maintenance;
- Ensuring that the customer’s machine is repaired and in operation within the shortest time possible;
- Ensuring that the best possible technical service is performed;
- Attending training both locally and overseas when required and to advise the Company of any training courses that would be required to offer a better service;
- Liaising with all departments to implement business development strategies approved by the Board of Directors.
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field and possession of an Engineering Warrant;
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience in mechanical engineering, design, maintenance, manufacturing or project execution;
• Proficiency in engineering software and design tools;
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engineering principles, and applicable industry standards;
• Ability to prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports and documentation;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills;
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and in writing.
