Multi Packaging Limited, a subsidiary company within the M. Demajo Group, is seeking to recruit a full-time Electronics Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on building services, plant, production equipment, installations and other general maintenance-related duties.
The ideal candidate must be an energetic and agile person with a can-do attitude towards work. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Maintenance Executive and will be supporting the rest of the Maintenance team.
Duties will include:
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing plant;
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure supporting the production of corrugated cardboard and cardboard products;
- Minimizing downtime and contribute to a reliable and continuous manufacturing process;
- Conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of electrical equipment and control systems across the plant;
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical faults in machinery, including corrugators, folder-gluers, die cutters, and associated equipment;
- Installing, modifying, and upgrading electrical wiring, control panels, and power distribution systems in accordance with regulations and safety standards;
- Working closely with mechanical technicians and production staff in identifying root causes of equipment issues and applying long-term solutions;
- Ensuring all electrical works comply with local electrical codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies;
- Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns and production stoppages, ensuring minimal disruption to operation;
- Performing any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and manuals;
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems;
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and manuals;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role;
- In position of holding MQF Level 4 or higher.
