Multi Packaging Limited, a subsidiary company within the M. Demajo Group, is seeking to recruit a full-time Corrugator Assistant Supervisor to direct, communicate, and lead the Multi Packaging Ltd. Corrugator operation while supervising the smooth running of the system and its employees.
The ideal candidate must be an energetic and driven person with a can-do attitude towards work. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be supporting the rest of the Corrugator operation team.
Duties will include:
- Leadership & Personnel – Lead and supervise teams effectively while upholding company values, policies, and procedures and according to OpEx Principles. Ensure efficient personnel utilization, proper duty performance, and obtain approval for overtime.
- Operational Excellence & Planning – Ensure correct machine setup, efficient operation, and adherence to production schedules while optimizing cost, quality, and service. Coordinate with relevant departments to plan staffing, reel availability, and resolve operational shortfalls.
- Operational Technical Skill – Be fully trained and able to train/replace staff in Facer, Control Room, Take Off, and Clamp Lifter skills. Maintain strong knowledge of Boiler, Glue Kitchen, Baler, and Filtration systems.
- Technical Maintenance & Health & Safety – Perform and support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting of equipment issues. Enforce PPE, safety policies, and end‑of‑shift procedures related to fire safety, security, and energy consumption.
- Quality & Waste Control – Monitor product quality, take corrective action, and communicate defects promptly. Control waste levels, investigate variances, and ensure proper handling of damaged or quarantined materials.
- Planning – Ensure reel availability and efficient daily machine planning for all shifts. Coordinate staffing needs, manage samples and production items, and plan rework or sorting of rejected/ on hold material.
- Documentation & Reporting – Accurately complete all production logs, training records, consumption reports, and job‑related documentation. Maintain and file all viscosity and operational records promptly.
- Training & Development – Train employees effectively, promote multi‑skilling, and stay updated on new systems and innovations. Actively pursue personal knowledge growth and perform additional assigned duties.
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in a leadership position with a technical background
- Ability to lead, motivate and train other team members
- Skilled in schedule planning, resource allocation, and cross‑department coordination
- Prior experience in operating mechanical machinery
- Ability to set up machinery, perform routine preventive maintenance, identify equipment issues, and support repairs
- Good knowledge of English
- Attention to detail

Candidates with Strong knowledge of Facer, Control Room, Take Off, Clamp Lifter, Boiler, Glue Kitchen, Baler, and Filtration systems will be given preference.
