Multi Packaging Limited is seeking to recruit a full time Operator. The selected candidate’s will be an integral part of the corrugation team where teamwork and effective communication is key. S/he must be an energetic individual, who can work on his/her own initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining the highest standard of good practice.
Duties will include:
- Operating the lifter to prepare the paper rolls for the daily production schedule as specified in the supporting documentation;
- Making sure that the line is continuously replenished as to ensure a smooth operation without any interruptions or unnecessary downtime;
- Ensuring that the paper rolls are clearly labelled and that their storage area is kept clean and well-organized;
- Completing all the necessary data entry documentation associated with each job;
- Operating fork lifters and to assist in loading or moving materials and products;
- Run the machine, monitor its operation and ensure that the equipment is in good running order.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience with forklifts;
- Ability to communicate in Maltese and/or English;
The appropriate candidate for this role will be one who possesses good interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and English, be confident, smart, and engaging. S/he needs to be highly responsible, reliable, and meticulous, with an ability to work efficiently under pressure.
