M. Demajo (Services) Limited is currently seeking to recruit a meticulous and responsible individual in the position of Accounts Clerk.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected candidate will be performing the following main duties amongst others:

  • Posting in accounting ledgers and other entries;
  • Posting monthly bank and cash vouchers;
  • Liaising with clients and vendors;
  • Preparing monthly reconciliations;
  • Assisting in monthly inventory count;
  • Compiling reports;
  • Filing and other administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position;
  • Have a minimum qualification at O level standard or equivalent in Accounts;
  • Have excellent communication skills and be fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel;
  • Be familiar with accounting software;
  • Be organized, methodical and have an eye for detail;
  • Be an effective team player;

Verbal communication in Maltese will be considered an asset.
