We are seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems and equipment to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Main duties will include:
- Planning, implementing and evaluating the Company’s business development activities;
- Liaising with the Subsidiary Board to review results and discussing any changes to goals or objectives in the light of current conditions;
- Exploring partnerships and joint ventures with local and international organisations to increase business;
- Building and maintaining a comprehensive database of existing and potential customers and analysing it to identify trends and opportunities for new products and services;
- Providing monthly updates on customer requests for electrical / technical assistance;
- Attending to service calls as directed by the Company and ensuring that they are handled within the service level agreements agreed with each customer;
- Advising the Company on electrical and technical matters and engaging with the Company’s overseas principals to obtain specialist support for the customer;
- Restoring customers’ equipment to operation in the shortest possible time;
- Completing visit reports of services rendered to every customer;
- Compiling reports following preventive or corrective maintenance;
- Attending training both locally and overseas when required and advising the Company of any training courses that would be required to improve the service provided;
- Liaising with all departments to implement business development strategies approved by the Board of Directors.
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field and possession of an
Engineering Warrant;
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience in electrical engineering, design, installation,
maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment;
• Proficiency in electrical software and design tools;
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, engineering principles, and applicable industry standards;
• Ability to prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports and documentation;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills;
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and in writing.
