Multi Packaging Limited a subsidiary company within the M. Demajo Group, is seeking to recruit a full-time Environment Health Safety Security Manager to assist in providing Health, Safety, Security and Environmental support and to ensure that all practices are compliant with Occupational Health and Safety standards and Environment Resources Authority (ERA) regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate must be an energetic and agile person with a can-do attitude towards work. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Managing Director.
Main Duties will include:
• Overseeing the implementation of the Multi Packaging Limited EHSS management system in line with standard requirements, and local regulations;
• Preparing and revising risk assessments, safe systems of work and enforcing preventive health, safety, security, and environment measures;
• Carrying out inspections at the workplace and taking necessary action;
• Responding to and investigating concerns raised by employees and consequently taking appropriate decisions and remedial action;
• Issuing work permits when needed;
• Taking ownership of the waste management data systems recording and reporting on all waste streams;
• Originating and updating EHSS policies and procedures;
• Overseeing that all contractors comply with the site EHSS regulations;
• Investigating near miss incidents/accidents occurring in the group’s workplace and issuing mitigation procedures;
• Taking charge of all projects relevant to Environment, Health and Safety and Security;
• Overseeing that all EHSS equipment is maintained and certified when necessary;
• Acting as the point of contact for site security measures;
• Overseeing and assigning any needs after office hours and during shutdowns;
• Assisting in the upkeep of ISO certifications and formulating best strategies to meet targets;
• Monitoring and scheduling/delivering EHSS training certification renewals;
• Planning, assisting and coordinating services as required;
• Supporting Multi Packaging to successfully execute its ESG Strategy and ensuring alignment with the business’s wider strategies and goals;
• Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the Environment (ESG) Action Plan;
• Supporting the development of the decarbonisation plans, including reduction target setting;
• Reviewing and analysing corporate activities and providing recommendations related to enhancing the ESG/sustainability Strategy, methods, framework, and related tools.

Previous experience in ISO 14001, and/or knowledge of Health and Safety will be considered an asset.
