Multi-Packaging Ltd. is Malta’s only manufacturer of corrugated carton products, serving both B2B and B2C markets with a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. A subsidiary of the M. Demajo Group, the company has been a cornerstone of Malta’s industrial landscape for decades. In 2025, Multi-Packaging proudly celebrates its 60th anniversary – a milestone reflecting its resilience, growth, and continuous evolution in the manufacturing sector. 

The company offers a comprehensive range of packaging solutions, including corrugated cardboard sheets, regular slotted cartons, catering boxes, and industrial packaging, serving local manufacturers, caterers, transport companies, and food suppliers. 

Looking beyond Malta, Multi-Packaging has announced its expansion into Tunisia, where it is developing a 3,000-square-metre converting facility. 

Managing Director Brian Muscat explains the rationale behind the move: “Tunisia offers a clear competitive edge. Expanding there allows Multi-Packaging to scale beyond the limits of Malta’s domestic market. The country’s strategic location, cost-effectiveness, and emerging industrial base make it an ideal hub for delivering high-quality packaging solutions closer to our clients, improving lead times and reducing costs.” 

The Tunisian facility will convert corrugated sheets produced in Malta into premium packaging, bridging the gap in the region’s underserved market. 

Despite this geographic expansion, Malta remains central to Multi-Packaging’s future. “We are investing significantly in our Malta facility,” says Mr Muscat. “Key initiatives include expanding storage capacity and automating critical production and logistics processes. These upgrades will unlock greater efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance our responsiveness to market demands.” 

Sustainability and innovation remain at the heart of the company’s strategy, with ongoing initiatives to reduce waste, optimise material use, and explore renewable energy solutions across both Malta and Tunisia.
