Overall Purpose:
In this role we are seeking for an electrical & electronics engineering professional who effectively combines in-depth technical knowledge with strong business development skills, facilitating the promotion of our cutting-edge technical products and services.
A professional responsible for identifying business opportunities, establish and nurture strategic clients and partnerships locally, and internationally. Expand the company’s market presence by prospecting new clients. Creating engaging technical proposals, and negotiating proposals with customers, and partners, and ultimately increase the revenue and profitability of the company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have a deep understanding of the technical aspects and capabilities of the products or services that are being sold. Be expert in the features, specifications, and benefits of what they offer and to technically support the clients.
- Work closely with customers to identify their needs, challenges, and objectives. Use technical expertise to determine how the products or services can address these needs effectively.
- Continuously conduct research to identify competitive products or services, competitor activity, pricing and tactics. Use this information to develop effective marketing and sales strategies.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business objectives, such as increasing market share, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Leading sales efforts by generating leads, qualifying prospects, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Prospecting and nurturing strong relationships with new clients, partners, industry influencers, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive business growth.
- After a sale is made, the technical sales engineer will continue to support the customer by ensuring the successful implementation and commissioning of the product or service and addressing any technical issues that may arise.
- To provide technical support and answer customer questions.
- Address concerns, objections, and provide detailed information on the product or service.
- Be responsible for providing pricing and quotes to customers, taking into account their specific needs and configurations.
- To represent the Company during conferences, workshops and other activities thus keeping abreast of current information and developments in the field and making new business contacts.
The Suitable Candidate Should:
- Be resident in Malta, be fluent in Maltese and English, and hold a car driving license;
- Have a Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering;
- Ability at identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

- Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
- Ability to create detailed and engaging technical proposals with technical illustrations and images.
