Multi Packaging Limited a subsidiary company within the M. Demajo Group, is seeking to recruit a full-time Senior Technical Process Leader to ensure that products are made of faultless materials thus ensuring high-quality merchandise and optimal customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate must be an energetic and agile person with a can-do attitude towards work. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Production Manager.
Main Duties will include:
• Communicate and lead the Multi Packaging Ltd. Operation, and to assist the Maintenance Department technically, carrying out repairs when required;
• Lead, Motivate and Supervise a number of Day/Shift Personnel to Operate Effectively according to OpEx Principles
• Ensuring accurate and efficient set-up of the machine in accordance with the proper set-up techniques;
• Inspect finished product thus ensuring that quality specifications are met and communicate effectively with the team to ensure that quality and efficiency are being maintained and adjusted;
• Performing scheduled machine preventive maintenance when/as required and ensuring that the preventive maintenance plan is adhered to;
• Filling-out carefully the necessary paperwork related to daily production, machine performance, logs and consumption reports and ensuring that all records are completed accurately;
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Maintenance Reports & Logs, Safety Data and Quality Data;
• Running the Machinery efficiently and monitor the operation whilst maximizing machine utilisation and ensuring that quality products are being produced;
• Adhering to the production schedule, make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals and to report any unusual scheduling issues to the Supervisor;
• Ensuring that end of Shift/Operation Procedures are adhered to, especially in view of Fire Safety, Waste (Electricity Consumption) and Security area;
• Providing support and necessary training on the machine;
• Communicate relevant information to Personnel on a timely basis and ensuring that all work processes set by the company are adhered to.
The successful candidate must have:
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and self-reliant;
• Problem solving skills;
• Level 4 in an Engineering Related subject, together with proven Leadership track record.
