Warehouse & Distribution Assistant (WS – WADA 11/23)

M. Demajo (Wines and Spirits) Limited is seeking to recruit a Warehouse & Distribution Assistant to join its current team.  This position calls for a responsible, motivated and enthusiastic person who can work on his/her own initiative. 

The selected person will be reporting to the Warehouse Managers and will be performing the following main duties amongst others:

• Coordinating the day-to-day deliveries with the Warehouse Managers and assisting them in the upkeep and maintenance of the store area and equipment;
• Assisting in periodical stocktaking and with the stacking of all the incoming stock in their respective places;
• Organizing duty paid orders on pallets for deliveries;
• Loading of the stock into the vans on a daily basis;
• Checking all stock loaded against invoices;
• Unloading containers and checking stock received.

Interested candidates must:

• Have a minimum of one years’ experience in a similar post;
• Possess a valid and clean driving license;
• Be customer oriented;
• Have good verbal and written communications skills in both Maltese and English;
• Be always smart and reliable.

Preference will be given to those candidates that possess a Forklift license.
