Sales Representative (MDC – SR 01/23)

A vacancy has arisen for a Full Time Sales Representative within M. Demajo & Company Limited’s Confectionery Division.  

M. Demajo & Company Limited forms part of the M. Demajo Group which has been established since 1910. It is a leading import and distribution company, representing renowned international brands such as Illy, Lindt, Lotus, Cavendish and Harvey, as well as other confectionery brands.

The selected candidate will be performing the following duties amongst others:

• Managing the Company’s product portfolio distributed by the Company throughout the Maltese Territory;
• Collecting payment and effect deposit of sales at the M. Demajo Group Head Office;
• Monitoring and controlling late payments and bad debts;
• Properly maintaining all Company’s product related point of sale material;
• Managing all Company’s product related promotional brands;
• Oversee correctness of store personnel’s records with regards to incoming goods;
• ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout.

The ideal candidate must:

• Possess good written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English; 
• Have outstanding sales and customer service skills; 
• Have strong problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills; 
• Be able to work under pressure and deal with clients’ complaints; 
• Be able to work with minimum supervision; 
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications; 
• Possess a clean driving license B.

Previous experience in sales will be considered an asset, however training will be provided.
