Merchandiser / Promoter (MDC – MP 05/23)

A vacancy has arisen for a Merchandiser / Promoter within M. Demajo & Company Limited, one of the subsidiary companies within the M. Demajo Group. The company represents renowned international brands such as Illy, Lindt, Lotus, Cavendish and Harvey, as well as other confectionery brands.

The selected candidate will be promoting the company`s products, displaying articles and stacking shelves amongst other duties.

Main duties shall include:

• Liaising with clients in providing information with regards to products;
• Intercepting customers and promoting ongoing offers;
• Understand, learning and keeping oneself updated on all product specifications;
• Developing and maintaining a structured stock inventory reporting system;
• Ensuring adequate space and presentation of merchandise;
• Researching, analysing and keeping oneself updated with the market, including competitors and consumer trends.

The ideal candidate must:

• Be able to work on his/her own initiative;
• Have a good level of communication skills;
• Possess a clean police conduct and driving licence;
• Must be organised and have an eye for detail;
• Be able bodied as the role requires stacking of products on shelves;
• Make use of own transport.
