Assistant Financial Controller (MDSL – AFC 02/23) 

 M. Demajo (Services) Limited is seeking to recruit a Full Time Assistant Financial Controller to join one of its subsidiaries. 

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the selected candidate shall be responsible for providing high-level support to the Group Financial Controller in managing the group accounting and financial activities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• To prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports; 
• To assist accountants with budgeting and projections; 
• To oversee and support the accountants in their duties; 
• To ensure quality control over financial transactions and reports; 
• To perform internal audits and ensure compliance to internal control framework; 
• To ensure all accounting practices are in compliance with legal guidelines and accounting policies; 
• To manage and maintain the group insurance policies; 
• To collaborate with subsidiary GMs/MDs in developing strategic plans for the respective companies; 
• To collaborate with ERP coordinator on ERP projects and accounting processes solutions; 
• To assist GFC in preparing bank and statutory compliance reporting; 

The ideal candidate must: 

• Have a degree in Accountancy or the ACCA qualification; 
• Have 3-5 years’ experience in an Accountant position; 
• Have excellent IT skills;
